চাঁদপুরের পদ্মা ও মেঘনা নদীর মোহনার চিতল মাছ (Clown Knifefish) তার অনন্য স্বাদ এবং আকারের জন্য অত্যন্ত সুপরিচিত।
নদীর তীব্র স্রোতের বিরুদ্ধে সাঁতার কাটার কারণে চাঁদপুর মোহনার চিতল মাছের শারীরিক গঠন যেমন শক্ত হয়, তেমনি এদের শরীরে যে প্রাকৃতিক তেল বা চর্বি জমে, তা-ই এর স্বাদকে অনন্য করে তোলে। চাষের মাছ বা শান্ত পানির মাছের চেয়ে নদীর এই টাটকা চিতলের স্বাদ সত্যিই অতুলনীয়।
আমাদের কাছে সাধারণত ৫ থেকে ৭ কেজি ওজনের বিশালাকার এবং তাজা চিতল মাছ পাওয়া যায়। বড় সাইজের হওয়ার কারণে এই মাছগুলোর পেটি অত্যন্ত চর্বিযুক্ত এবং স্বাদ অনন্য হয়।

We generally offer massive and fresh Chital fish weighing between 5 to 7 kg. Due to their large size, the belly (Peti) section of these fish is exceptionally fatty and delivers an extraordinary taste
